In a thermochemical conversion process, pyrolysis is one of the most suitable techniques to decompose plastic and biomass and produce value-added products. This process has the potential to produce bio-char, wax, oil, producer gas, and chemical products which can further be utilized for different purposes/applications. Wax can be used as a binding agent to manufacture briquettes or pellets of biomass. Biochar can be used as a botanical product and water/air purification whereas pyro-oil can be used use as blending with conventional oil and utilized in oil-fired burners. Producer gas can be used for electricity generation through IC Engines or heating purposes. The share of agriculture waste and plastic waste (in MSW) is increasing nowadays. There is no such mature technology to utilize these wastes into energy. After a successful attempt, both wastes will be used to generate different products. After that, explore their applications based on the physicochemical properties of the extracted chemicals.
