Abstract: Floor cleaners are already available in the market, but they all are either bulky, expensive or not suitable for Indian houses. So this design is compact and easy to maintain. This Robot can detect the obstacles & objects in front of it and can continue moving, avoiding the obstacles, until the whole room is cleaned in a definite pattern which ensures the covering of the complete area. It has a small brush attached to it to clean the floor. After completing the predefined area, it would automatically end tracing the path. In order to make it compact we have given the structure of a car to this robot.
