Abstract:
The project is targeted to build a device which has the capability to record and form a database of various parameters of electrical supply at the distribution side. It will be getting data logged into a server without constant human interference or monitoring. It uses Raspberry Pi which is a tiny computer, for storing and analysing the data in order to check for any erratic voltage supply output given by mains supply. The stored data will be accessible from any part of the campus just by feeding valid credentials to a portal through the campus’ internet connectivity. The project aims to get completed in a fraction of cost, and also be energy efficient. Due to the presence of a microcomputer residing in, the project’s future prospect also widens to various industries where any precaution measures are required to be taken care of.
