Abstract: Pervious geopolymer concrete is a concrete which will drain away excess water from ground and recharge the ground and is prepared from industrial waste like fly ash, slag, etc which are alkali activated. As this concrete will utilise waste product like fly ash and also will help in rejuvenating depleting ground water with pervious nature of concrete it will be immensely helpful in societal development. Parametric study will be carried out to evaluate parameters affecting mix design like percentage of fines, size of aggregate void ratio, amount of solution, etc. After this a mix design will be finalised. After development of mix design, a small stretch of 2.5 m × 2 m will be constructed using pervious geopolymer concrete/paver blocks manufactured using this mix design. Observations will be availed to determine effectiveness of this pavement strip.
