Abstract: Making a gesture controlled plug using haptic technology and kinect sensors (gesture sensors) and with no transmitter module. All it will take is just a smart receiver plug.

It is known that nowadays, infrared signals are used widely all over the world and almost in every remote and wireless device. S.A.S is also a device, which works on IR signals but in a more compatible and user-friendly manner.

Switching or altering of electric state of any plugged-in device i.e turning ON or OFF any plugged-in device from distance. (Home Automation).

S.A.S is a device that works on IR signals along with contribution of ARDUINO.

When a person snaps by fingers it creates a sound which is detected by the sound sensor, the output of sound sensor is given to the analog input of the arduino board. It is coded in such a way that whenever it receives analog signal from the sound sensor it transmit the IR signal from the IR circuit connected to the pin no.13 and ground pin of arduino. The IR transmitted is received by the IR receiver circuit which is made in such a way that whenever it receives and IR signal it alters the electrical state of the plugged-in device.
