The RFID based Smart Proxy Spotter

Abstract: The project deals with making a smart gate that detects the number of students entering the class and marks their presence.
So currently in the market there are these Smart gates which are equipped with a RFID system. The Side Pillars as seen in the picture will contain the RFID reader. It will read the RFID tags of students entering through the gate. Hence from a database the system will identify the student and mark his presence. Note the RFID tags can be glued with the present Nirma ID card. Well this type of basic system is already available in the market. But please notice that the system has a major drawback. If a student passes through the gate carrying multiple ID cards than the system won’t be able to recognize the proxy attendance of those students and will mark all of them present.

For this drawback the companies came with a solution to allot separate guards for each gate and instruct them to check each student’s entry or take surprise attendances from time to time.

There are 5 special features which will nullify the smallest or minuets possibility of proxy. 1) Foot step Recognition System 2) Time Barrier 3) Mass absent power 4) Visual Interface 5) Proxy Buzzer
