Abstract: We will be making an all-terrain robot with semi-autonomous capability wherein in case of emergency robot can shift the operation to manual mode from autonomous mode. This will ensure redundancy.
Apart from this, we will be adding storage carrying structure to the same which will be used in taking packages which can then be used for package delivery process.

For communication, we will be using long range RF wireless module.
The most important feature we be the self-charging capability of the robot, wherein, we will make use of two batteries. One battery will run the motors and at the same time, the energy from motor’s rotation will be used to charge the second battery. Once the first battery gets drained, controller algorithm will switch them over to ensure that the drained battery now starts charging and the charged one, runs the motors.

Lastly, we will be incorporating some sensors like ultrasonic or long range IR which will serve the purpose of measuring several obstacles while moving through different environment.
