It was the day to remember, cherish, recognise and reward the achievers. Institute of Technology, Nirma University (ITNU) celebrated its 27th Foundation Day on October 4, 2021. The illustrious 26 years have seen ITNU contributing to society by giving ethical engineers and research insights. It was a day to celebrate the contribution of the faculty members and students in institution building. The institute celebrated it with aplomb in the august presence of Shri Nilesh M Desai, Director, Space Applications Centre (SAC/ISRO). The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Shri KK Patel, Vice President, Nirma University and Dr Anup K Singh, Director General, Nirma University.
The day started by paying homage to students, staff and faculty members who passed away in the last two years.
Three members were honoured for serving the institute for the last 25 years. Thirty-six meritorious students were felicitated with Gold and Silver medals. Forty-five faculty members, a staff member and fifty-four students were felicitated on this occasion for their achievement.
Different teams that brought laurels to the University at various National and International competitions were also felicitated on this occasion.
