On October 03, 2023, the Institute of Technology at Nirma University celebrated its 29th Foundation Day. The event was presided over by Ms. Namrata Somani, Centre Head at TCS, Dr. Anup Singh, Director General of Nirma University, and Dr. Rajesh N. Patel, Director of the Institute of Technology at Nirma University.
Ms. Namrata emphasized the importance of technology’s growth and the intelligent utilization of AI tools like ChatGPT by students. She applauded the Institute of Technology’s evolution as a benchmark in technical education over the past decade and expressed her anticipation of its recognition as one of the best institutions in the country and on an international scale.
Dr. Anup Singh discussed the rapid progression of technology from Industry 2.0 to the upcoming Industry 5.0 and the challenges associated with keeping up with these changes. He commended the Institute of Technology’s performance as the flagship institute of Nirma University and extended his best wishes for its future endeavors.
Dr. Rajesh N. Patel presented the institute’s annual performance report, highlighting the accomplishments of both students and faculty members at national and international levels. These accolades encompassed outstanding achievements in academics and co-curricular events such as ROBOCON and SAE BAJA, among others.
