Post covid, the world is going through a traumatic recovery phase and working to transform the environment to make it a safe place. However, recent upsurge of brain stroke, heart related problems and mental health conditions especially in the young generation raises the alarm for the immediate attention and need of deep research to uncover its root causes, Hence, to orient the academic community with the threat and challenges to fight the mental health issues and to learn more about the early symptoms of brain stroke and heart related problems, ISTE faculty chapter of Institute of Technology, Nirma University conducted a seminar on “Stress Management in Digital Age and Handling Neurological Emergencies” on September 30, 2023.
Two invited speakers from the medical fraternity delivered their talk to 100+ faculty members and invitees. Dr. Parth Vaishnav, MD Psychiatric had delivered his talk on “Navigating the Digital Landscape: Mental Health Implications for Educators and Students in the Age of Technology” and Dr. Chintan Prajapati, DM Neurologist had made the audience aware about “Types of Headache and Neurological Emergencies” during his talk at the seminar.
The objective of the seminar was to educate the academic community with existing mental health and brain related problems that have emerged post covid and hopefully this seminar will motivate the faculty members to pursue research in these areas for the betterment of the community and would be able to mentor their students in handling post Covid stress and for better mental health.
