Every year, the United Nations celebrates March 22 as the “World Water Day”, and to mark this occasion, Civil Engineering Department, School of Engineering, OrCES – Organization of Civil Engineering Students, IGBC Student Chapter along with NSS and Student Welfare Board, Nirma University had organized “World Water Day – 2019” program with the theme of ‘Water for all: Leaving No One Behind’.
Highlights of the programme were activities like –
More than 120 Students of Nirma University participated in these competitions with great enthusiasm. An exhibition was also held after the competitions, in which drawings and photographs were displayed. In addition to the above activities, an awareness program was also organized to aware the students about the various aspects of “Quality of water” which they are drinking.
