Effect of Elevated Temperatures on the Shear Friction Behaviour of Concrete

The shear behaviour of various types of concrete (such as normal strength concrete with 20 mm and/or 10 mm down aggregate, and geopolymer concrete) has not been thoroughly investigated under fire exposure. This study aims to evaluate and compare the shear performance of these concretes when subjected to elevated temperatures. The outcomes of this project will contribute to the scientific understanding of shear behaviour of different types of concrete under the effect of fire. The findings will help to pave the guidelines for calculation of shear strength of concrete.
