The Chemical Engineering Students’ Association, ChESA is an association by the students and for the students of the Chemical Engineering Department. ChESA is one of the oldest student associations of the institute established in the year 1996. The basic aim of the association is to foster and maintain networking among fellow students and alumni through technical and social events on continual basis.
ChESA organises wide range of seminars, lecture series, social activities, competitions, workshops, sports activities, career talks, etc. Such activities provide a platform for its members to develop their organisational skills along with their technical skills by sharing information, camaraderie and networking.
The annually published magazine of the association called “Synergy” includes details of events organised under the banner of ChESA and articles by the members.
