IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) – Nirma University Student Chapter
The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is a global community focused on the development and application of signal processing across areas such as digital signal processing, image and video processing, speech and audio, computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
At Nirma University, the IEEE SPS Student Chapter brings together students who are interested in exploring these areas through technical learning, practical activities, and research. The chapter provides opportunities to understand concepts beyond the classroom and see how they are used in areas such as AI, computer vision, embedded systems, cybersecurity, sensors, and data-driven applications.
The chapter conducts technical sessions, workshops, hands-on activities, research discussions, competitions, and collaborative events. We also work with other IEEE chapters and student communities to create opportunities for students to learn across different areas of technology.
Through these activities, IEEE SPS at Nirma University aims to build a community where students can learn, experiment, share ideas, and work on interesting technical problems, while also connecting with the wider IEEE SPS community and exploring opportunities in research and innovation.
