The Editorial Board is supported by a team of esteemed reviewers in each of the disciplines of the Journal. The reviewers are from Nirma University, other Academic Institutes of Repute from India as-well-as abroad, industry, and research organisations.
Full-text manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors (considered as corresponding author) of the manuscript through the online submission system which can be accessed after registering as an author on this website. Only electronic files with .doc, .docx, and .pdf extension can be uploaded. Corresponding authors must fill all the necessary meta-data relevant to the submission. It is suggested that before starting the submission, the authors must read carefully all the instructions and policies pertaining to the Journal. It is assumed that by submitting the paper, the authors agree with all the policies and guidelines of the journal.
There is no page limit for the initial manuscript, however, it is generally 8 page for a research paper, and 12 page for a review paper. Note that usually in the review process the reviewers tend to ask for more explanations, and it correspondingly leads to increase in the length of the final paper. Note that in the final page count, the authors’ biographies and photos should be included.
Only electronic submissions are accepted to facilitate rapid publication and minimise administrative costs. Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted. The corresponding author takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review. It is also the responsibility of the corresponding author to keep informed other authors (co-authors) of the paper about the status of the paper from time-to-time.
The paper must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis, or as preliminary version in the form of a conference paper) and is not currently under consideration by another conference/journal or by any other publisher. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all the other co-authors of the paper. Further correspondence and proofs will be sent to the corresponding author before publication. It is a condition of submission of a paper that the authors permit editing of the paper for readability, and if needed for correct language as well.
All manuscripts are subjected to double-blind peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Submissions will be considered by Editors if not rejected right away by the Chief Editor/Associate Editors. Identities of peer-reviewers remain anonymous to the authors.
All submitted full-text articles should report original and previously unpublished research results either in the form of experimental or theoretical work and new case studies.
The language of the manuscript is English. Many a times it is observed that authors do not take adequate care of using proper grammar and overlook the linguistic flow of the paper. Majority of papers are rejected not only because of the poor technical contents, but due to lack of proper presentation also. It is strongly suggested to authors that they must look into this aspect and prepare the manuscript error free as far as language and technicalities are concerned. Poor grammatical representation clearly indicates immature paper writing skills. Writing a paper demand, an iterative task, precise use of words, presentation by self-explanatory figures, sound mathematical analysis of the concept, modelling and simulation studies, validation of the concept by experimental results, and thorough structuring of the paper. Initial submission must be prepared taking all such care for seamless review process and quick acceptance of the paper. Author should ask an English-speaking colleague to proofread the paper. Papers that fail to meet basic standards of literacy are likely to be unaccepted by the Editorial Office.
Submissions prepared using LaTeX are preferred, but submissions in .doc or .docx format are also accepted. Please use the templates provided on the IEEE site (https://journals.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/create-your-ieee-article/) for the same. Authors are advised to strictly adhere to the template style while preparing the manuscript. Casual approach in the format of the paper may lead to “Rejection”. Especially the care is to be taken for: font size and type of paper title, abstract, paragraph headings, sub-headings, figure captions, table headings, equations, referencing style, and completeness of the references.
It is strongly suggested that authors must themselves do the similarity index check of their manuscript prior to its initial submissions for the Journal. The paper shall be properly modified to bring the similarity index below 10%. This will help saving time at both the sides and lead to fast review process.
Submissions will be checked for plagiarism using proper Turnitin software. If similarity index is greater than 10% then the submission will be rejected, if it is not an extension of the work by the same authors published earlier. If it is an extension of the work by the same authors published earlier in a conference proceedings then the submission must be a substantial revision of the conference paper, containing significant novel material (at least 30% of additional material). In this case, at the time & submission, the authors must indicate in the cover letter when and where the paper has been published, and explain the major differences of the submission with respect to the earlier published work. Also authors must include that published paper of own in the list of references of the newly submitted paper. A copy of the earlier publication should be provided as part of the submission.
