I would like to inform you that I will be joining Apple as a Machine Learning Engineer in Siri in January after graduating from Columbia University. This feat was only possible due to the lessons learned at Nirma University and here at Columbia University. At every step of the interview, I realized how important were the concepts that we were taught during our B.Tech and I have to thank the whole department for that.
I would’ve loved to interact with the current students and motivate them towards working for excellence, and help them solve their queries on jobs, internships, coding, further education, research in ML/DL, etc. had I come to India, but owing to the pandemic I am not planning to risk flying all the way to India and back. However, I am open to similar discussions via virtual mediums/ Zoom if you feel that would help the students of the CSE department in anyways. As a past student of the B. Tech program, I remember how very insightful those Alumni sessions were.
