The university has a provision for reimbursement of interest on educational loans taken by a student from a nationalised or scheduled bank on merit-cum-means basis.
For this scheme, the upper-income ceiling of the family, from all sources, should not exceed Rs 3 lakh per annum for a 100% interest-free loan scheme and should not exceed Rs 5 lakh per annum for a 50% waiver.
The student must have secured at least 70% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination. The scholarship is limited to a maximum of 5% of students of the total sanctioned intake in each programme/branch.
Students can contact the Director of the respective institute to learn more about this scheme.
