Admissions to these seats are filled-in by the Institute. Candidates must register and apply online on the Institute website separately.

These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and secured an All India Rank in Paper-I of JEE (Main) 2024.

Eligibility

The Candidate must have passed the qualifying Class-XII (Science) Examination from a recognised board with the minimum percentage of marks as mentioned in the latest eligibility guidelines by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC, GoG)/AICTE.

Selection Process

Admission is based on the All India Rank in Paper-I of Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) 2024, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency, Government of India. Candidates who are appearing for JEE (Main) 2024 can apply for admission to the BTech Programme.

Candidate must separately fill-up the online application form for NRI/NRI-Sponsored category on the Institute website.
For NRI Candidate

• The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from the schools located abroad are exempted from appearing in the JEE (Main)-2024.
• The candidate who has NRI status but passed the qualifying examination from a school located in India, must appear for the JEE (Main) 2024.

For NRI-Sponsored Candidate

• Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and secured an All India Rank in Paper-I of JEE (Main) 2024 examination.
• NRI Sponsored candidates must produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI, who will furnish an undertaking to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.
• Documentary evidence of NRI status of the Sponsor must also be produced.

All admissions to BTech (Undergraduate Programme) are purely on merit and merit list will be prepared as per the guidelines of ACPC.

15% of total seats in each program being conducted at the constituent institutes of Nirma University, is available for admission to International Students under the Supernumerary categories like Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals (FN); out of which one-third i.e 5% seats are earmarked for CIWGC-SEA and 10% for OCI/FN. If the OCI/FN is not filled, the quota is available to CIWGC-SEA.

Categories for International Students

A) Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA)
The candidates whose parents are working in Gulf countries or South East Asia are eligible under this category.

B) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
The persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act No. 57 of 1955) are eligible under this category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are considered under this category. Earlier OCIs were called PIOs.

C) Foreign Nationals (FN)
The citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO are eligible under this category. This category includes SAARC countries also.
