On Appreciation

I don’t know where to start but I would say that there should be no place for hate in any type of relationship. Whether it is with your close friends or with your siblings or with your love partner.

Today I am going to talk about two terms which are “appreciation ” and “acceptance ” .

We often tease our “closed ones” in front of others . Upto certain level it is good and is acceptable. But after certain level it becomes horrible. We actually start to dishonor them in front of others. As a closed one and in fear of loosing you opposite person will take this in funny way and will not tell you about how they feel.

But as a result of this they will start sharing less with you and will not tell you that how you feel and the new things they are doing. We become prejudice against them and will tell them that “rehne de tere se nahi hoga yaar” . And they actually start feeling in that way .

We only share the reels and post to our closed ones of friendship. In which it is written that “I am a person with whom you can share anything without being judged”. But are we actually following that ! Really ?

This issue is very serious and I guess it needs huge introspection. So what can be the solution for this.? Any guesses?

I would only say that ” Appreciate appreciate and appreciate “. As भर्तृहरि says that “गुह्यंच गुहति गुणान् प्रगटी करोति” means ” tell the flaws of them in alone and appreciate them in public “. And

“परगुणपरमाणून्पर्वतीकृत्य नित्यं” .

Try to make your closed ones feel safe and too much comfortable with you. Try to support them in their every single deed even if it is so small. even it chats also. Give compliments and give more and more virtual hugs. Accept however and whatever they are because ultimately they are your closed ones and not of others. Love them in any manner.

As Jesus says “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
